Join us in congratulating our talented Sir Robert McAlpine colleagues on being recognised for their exceptional work at the G4C North East Awards.
Congratulations to Sir Robert McAlpine's Student Engineer Andrew Smales, Social Value Lead Anjana Raj and Trainee Quantity Surveyor Rebecca Pardue who were recognised for their exceptional work and contributions to the construction industry at the Generation4Change (G4C) North East awards in Newcastle last week.
The judges faced a difficult task this year, as the quality of the nominees was extremely high. They praised each individual for their remarkable talent and acknowledged that all employers should be incredibly proud of their nominees.
Anjana Raj (pictured left), Social Value Lead was awarded "Mentor of the Year”. Anjana's dedication and commitment to her mentees is a testament to her passion for developing future leaders in our industry.
Andy Smales (pictured right), Student Engineer at Sir Robert McAlpine received the highly commended award for the "Student of the Year", an incredible achievement that reflects his hard work and dedication to his studies.
And finally, Trainee Quantity Surveyor Rebecca Pardue was shortlisted for the "Trainee of the Year" award, which is an outstanding achievement in itself. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and contributions to our team.
Anjana is seen as an inspirational mentor and characterised by her passion to change lives. Not only has she mentored managers and professionals within the business, but she also supported and guided a succession of apprentices and graduate trainees into highly successful careers. She has been instrumental in implementing a wide range of value-added initiatives that embrace equality, promote diversity, and demonstrate that the construction industry offers opportunities to everyone.
