Celebrating the 125th anniversary of WHR's Mallaig extension

Congratulations to Quantity Surveyor, Ellice Ord, who was Highly Commended in the Mentor of the Year category at the G4C North East Awards.
G4C is passionate about focusing on young people and showcasing the young talent in the industry. The awards celebrate achievements of this young talent and the organisations supporting and shaping the future leaders of our industry.
Ellice was praised for her commitment to mentorship and her positivity and enthusiasm for supporting others. She is an integral part of our Social Value Leadership team in the North East, where she spearheads initiatives aimed at delivering social value and STEM activities to the next generation.
She actively engages with schools and communities, sharing her expertise and inspiring the younger generation at careers fairs and STEM events. Ellice also leads on a mentoring programme called the Wonder Challenge, a group set up to empower young girls from St Anthony’s Girls School in Sunderland.
Congratulations go to Ellice and also to Kieran Nightingale who was shortlisted for Student of the Year and Aislinn Chambers-Hey who made the shortlist for Trainee of the Year.
