Against a challenging timeframe, we mobilised quickly, working with the NHS Trust and hospital staff to create Bridgwater’s award-winning new community hospital.
Bridgwater Community Hospital has won the design category at this year’s Community Hospitals Association Awards.
The awards are established as the leading event for community hospitals.
Bridgwater Community Hospital Matron, Sue Taylor said the project gave the clinical team: “the opportunity to be instrumental in the interior design of the building with a marked emphasis on an environment specifically geared towards our patients…
“The project involved people from the local community and our League of Friends which adds to the feel of the hospital belonging to the community it serves ... The whole project was a joy to work on and is an environment that is a pleasure to work in.”
A ProCure 21+ development, the hospital was delivered by Integrated Health Projects (IHP), our joint venture with Vinci Construction UK.
