Ground breaking for the BEACH Building
The Royal Bournemouth Hospital hosted a ground breaking ceremony marking the start of BEACH Building's construction by Integrated Health Projects (IHP)
Colleagues from our IHP alliance attended an inclusion workshop recently to coincide with International Women’s Day.
The group used the opportunity to present to job seekers on the wide range of careers available to women in construction, including what the various roles entail.
Our presenters went on to share their own routes into construction, which were varied and included starting out in veterinary nursing, hairdressing and even teaching. All of which just goes to highlight how transferable many skills are when returning to work after a break or career change!
We are grateful to all our colleagues who got involved and helped to inspire others.
