Supporting workplace wellbeing at MAD World Summit 2024

We are advocating for improved wellbeing in the construction industry at the MAD World Summit in 2024.

We are proud to participate in the MAD World Summit 2024, the leading global event focused on workplace mental health, wellbeing, and resilience. Taking place on October 17th at 133 Houndsditch, London, this year’s summit will feature a dedicated construction stream, addressing the mental health challenges unique to our industry.

Karen Brookes, Chief People Officer at Sir Robert McAlpine, will join a panel of industry experts to share her insights on fostering healthier, more supportive work environments, and discuss the following topic: 

"The future of work: Flexibility, health & wellbeing, and productivity" - 11:10 AM - 11:35 AM

This session will delve into the evolving workplace landscape, emphasising how these factors are becoming crucial drivers of productivity. The panel will explore ways organisations can adapt to these changes, ensuring both employees and businesses thrive in the new environment. Her career spans over two decades in various leadership roles within the construction sector, where she has consistently championed efforts to create more inclusive and supportive work environments.
